
The orchestra of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg (OPL) is resident at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, one of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe.
We are recruiting dancers for a dance/music/theatre project with the following participants:
Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg
Haoxing Liang (Music Director)
Nina Kupczyk (Concept, Text and Director)
Sven Niemeyer (Choreography)
Music by Antonio Vivaldi: Le quattro stagioni/4 seasons
Premiere: 13 March 2015, Philharmonie Luxembourg (Grand Auditorium)
We are looking for dancers for the following positions:
Lujala – female dancer (soloist)
Requirements: strong classical and contemporary technique, improvisation skills and acting abilities. Basic knowledge of German. Age: 18 – mid 20’s
4 Seasons – male and female dancers (ensemble)
Requirements: strong contemporary technique, improvisation skills and strong partnering work. No age limit.
Audition: 15 Dec 2014 in Hamburg
Rehearsal periods in Hamburg:
2 – 17 February 2015 and 1 – 7 March 2015
(no travel and accommodation expenses are covered)
Rehearsal and performance period in Luxembourg
Travel day to Luxembourg: 8 March 2015
Rehearsal period in Luxembourg: 9 – 12 March 2015 Performances: 13 & 14 March 2015
The Philharmonie Luxembourg offers a package with the following components:
A net fee of 1,500.00 € for rehearsals and 2 concerts (Soloist/Lujala: 1,750.00 € net)
Accommodation in Luxembourg for the period 8 – 14 March 2015
Travel costs to Luxembourg (round trip/lump sum).
