Entidade promotora
Das Haus

Das Haus [in German, The House / The Home] represents the safer place for creatives. This independent project intends to support professionals of all cultural and creative industries, through labs. Inspired by the basis of resilience, we believe in cooperation as a valuable strength for change.

Since the first edition of the Das Haus Lab in 2019, these labs have brought together online more than 30 creatives from 20 different nationalities, based in various locations and working in multiple industries.

The Lab aims to encourage and support professionals of all cultural and creative industries on their career development and ongoing projects during 6 months. Each Lab edition selects a group of international multidisciplinary creatives for an experimental and free concept online group. Through online meetings, the selected participants exchanged knowledge and experiences related to creative processes and professional backgrounds, while developing their own practices together, in a safe place where technologies and location diversity agree in an in-between. The Lab sessions are also accompanied by a coordinator, and occasionally the participants are present in the LabTalks.

Every participant will benefit from:
» Weekly or Biweekly online meetings during 6 months
» Meetings adapted to all participants (schedules and time zones)
» An international selected group working in multiple creative areas
» Group debates accompanied by the coordinator
» Group feedback on ongoing creative processes
» Individual sessions with the coordinator (for individual feedback)
» Creative challenges with public presentations
» Opportunities for development of creative projects between participants or individually
» Development of individual soft skills
» Expansion of a creative professional network
» Access to a private online library with opportunities and references

This opportunity is for emerging to established professionals of all nationalities, over 21 years old, with work developed in (at least) one cultural and creative industry.
The program will be conducted in English, therefore the knowledge of the language is required.
In order to participate, it is very important to have a flexible time schedule and/or to be committed to attending the sessions consistently.
