Graphics Designer: TUI

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to take a leadership role within the Campaign Design Team delivering ‘best-in-class’ marketing design for TUI, First Choice and Marella Cruises. As the primary support for the Campaign Art Editor, the Graphic Designer will raise the creative bar to deliver polished campaign collateral. You will have developed your skills working within an advertising agency or an in-house creative team. As an experienced Marketing Designer with a superb portfolio to prove it, you love meeting competitive creative challenges daily. A keen interest in travel is a plus.

What You Will Be Doing
Support the Campaign Art Editor to deliver ‘best in class’ marketing campaigns
Lead the design of campaign and branded artwork for all TUI UK ‘owned channels’ this includes our retail estate, our airports and TUI Airways as well as our digital platforms
Must be able to work independently to manage design output
Assess print requirements for press output and oversee production of external print agencies.
Lead the design and implementation of window banners, POS collateral and shop fascia for the TUI UK&I retail estate
Design and create TUI brand graphic design template systems for print automation and provide oversight of technical development teams to ensure correct design implementation
Design 3rd Party Partnership collateral including FX, Tourist Boards, Third Party Cruise, VUE Cinema
Vector Illustration for both print, digital and motion graphics
Provide clear communication with internal stakeholders ensuring they understand restrictions, timescales and costs
Provide coordination between Marketing, external printer agencies as well as others such as UK retail and airport staff
Implement the TUI brand identity within TUI ‘owned channels’
Partner with the Campaign Art Editor and the Creative Lead to pitch new ideas – this includes design research and ideation including the preparation and delivery of concept presentations
Share design expertise and technical knowledge with the Design team on both print and digital media
Oversee the design and delivery of junior members of the design team as well as freelance contractors
Deputise for the Campaign Art Editor when necessary

What We Are Looking For
Proven graphic design experience with an expertise in campaign creative delivery working either agency or client side
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on collaboration and negotiation between multiple stakeholders
Expert Adobe CC practitioner including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
Working knowledge of all major marketing channels including retail POS and digital advertising formats including a knowledge of responsive web design and HTML
Technical understanding of the print process and some experience of overseeing commercial print processes
Motion design skills including Adobe After effects and web animation
Project Management & Negotiating Skills
Excellent Graphic Design knowledge with a professional portfolio to support
Professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and any other essential workplace technologies.
Experience of working in Agile Marketing environment and CAD design skills would be desirable
