Role overview:
If sport is your passion but you spend more time behind a camera than preparing for your next game, then we have the ideal opportunity for you. Pro:Direct are the leading online sports retailer and have built their reputation on show casing the highest standard of photography across all of their online, social and print platforms.
As a member of our fully equipped studio you’ll have opportunity to create artwork with the latest and greatest products. The job doesn’t just stop at the studio door; as well as producing artwork out in the field, we work hand in hand with major brands such as Nike, Adidas and Puma, to build content in sports venues across the UK with some of the biggest sports personalities in the country.

What we want you to do.
– Photographing products to an exceptionally high standard for both advertorial and editorial outputs over a wide variety of platforms.
– Shooting a mixture of still life, models and athletes.
– Working both in the studio and on location across the UK as well as internationally if required.
– Providing creative solutions to briefs as well as shooting to match existing assets.
– Managing your assigned workload effectively.
– Proactively seeking out ways to improve your work both in quality, quantity and consistency.
– Obtaining technical and creative skills as well as business knowledge from your studio colleagues.
– Problem solving both technically and creatively.
– Adhering to the current studio workflow as well as offering suggestions for improvement.
– Ensuring all studio equipment is properly maintained and cared for.

Your Skills
– A keen understanding of the trends and visual language within the sports industry.
– Ability to develop, pitch and implement creative solutions to briefs.
– Excellent photographic / technical understanding, with knowledge of Canon, Nikon or Sony camera systems.
– Photoshop experience is essential, Capture One is also desirable.
– Experience working with various studio lighting; both indoors and out.
– The ability to work in a fast paced studio environment.
– Great interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate ideas and take direction.
– Strong organisational and time management skills with demonstrable experience in multitasking and working under pressure.
– Willingness to travel and a full UK driving licence.
