Senior Video Editor: Freeda

This role will report directly to the Head of Content and will be based in our London office.This role will be responsible for quality video content across a visual, editorial and branded perspective.

Edit stimulating original and high-quality video content across multiple platforms. Creating compelling stories.
Responsible for the organisation, ingest, transcoding, backup, archival, QC and documentation of all footage across a busy post production team.
Create bespoke assets that show knowledge of and a consideration for social media audiences – including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
Manage multiple edits and projects at the same time.
Contribute innovative creative concepts across a broad range of video content helping to develop and ensure the style, quality and TOV of our video
Research, archive and present imagery, music and video content as support material to projects – as well as research creatives and crew to work on future projects.
Research and source the best music tracks and sound effects for a given project, using a production music database.
Work flexibly and reactively to a high volume video workflow.
Help to create, update and develop all graphic assets for video content.
Ensure all deadlines are met throughout the post production process and deliver final assets on time.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in video across platforms and devices – with a passion for visual storytelling across Freeda’s pillars: Personal style, Female Achievement and Sisterhood
Keep abreast of editing software and hardware developments, and ensure department is up to date.
Share knowledge and be a champion for innovative branded and editorial video

As the specialist you will have:
Essential Skills & Requirements

Proven experience within the editorial and branded content world creating highly engaging social first video content

Required Software Knowledge:

Adobe Creative Suite – with particular high-level knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and Media Encoder
DaVinci Resolve (good to have)

Essential Skills and Requirements:

High-level knowledge of creative video editing with a story telling mindset
High-level experience in data wrangling, ingest settings, transcoding, video codecs and formats.
Knowledge of video archival through media asset management systems.
Up-keeping and organising a central edit server.
Good level of experience in colour correction and creative colour grading.
Good level of experience in motion graphics creation.
The ability to work at speed in a fast turnaround environment, without sacrificing quality of content
Appreciation of global audience and subtlety of cultural differences across the world
