Tring Park School for the Performing Arts – Deputy Director of Dance

The specialist Performing Arts Co-educational Boarding & Day School (339 pupils aged 8-19) is looking for a Deputy Director of Dance.

Two year initial contract, full time. After over 20 years of outstanding commitment and service, Terry Wright is retiring in April 2017.

Applications are open for candidates for Deputy Director of Dance, who will also be the Co-ordinator of Classical Ballet curriculum, to start summer term 2017.

Essential: must have worked as a professional ballet dancer, and have teaching experience.

Preferable: should have considerable choreographic skills and experience, and worked in management.

Desirable: an individual who is passionate about dance training and education and who has ambition and personal drive.

Located in a beautiful Rothschild Mansion, Tring Park dance course has gained ‘Outstanding’ in the last 2 Ofsted Inspections and prepares pupils aged 8 – 19 as professional dancers.

Salary will include a responsibility allowance and is dependent upon skills and experience.

Initial Interviews will be held in January 2017.
