What We Are Looking For
Junior to Mid Level Editor experience of editing video content for use on digital platforms. This is primarily for social channels but other formats would be beneficial.
Understanding of user behaviour in social media and the ability to craft films to be used in integrated storytelling across multiple digital channels
Experience of working within a wider brand publishing department functions
To be strategic about how video content can be optimised to tell a story and get the best results
Expert in Adobe Premiere
Experienced using CC applications, especially: Photoshop(Advanced), After Effects (Intermediate) and SpeedGrade ideally or equivalent grading software (Advanced)
Be responsible for editorial accuracy and compliance
Maintain and archive effectively rushes and content supplied to you, ensuring all media items are regularly maintained and accessible to the wider business.
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrable experience with managing time and delivering projects to deadlines

What You Will Be Doing
Everyday will be different, you could be working on a brief to work through shaping a film for various different platforms or this could be the day where you are getting on top of archiving and organising all of the content that you have been working on in the past week. You will have meticulous attention to detail and this will show not only in how you craft your edits but also in the way you organise yourself and the material you are using. It should be possible for anyone to sit down at your 4K editing machine and simply pick up where you left off.
As Video Editor you will be part of the Content department’s Photography & Video team, working primarily delivering content for the Social Marketing team. You’ll work closely across both teams to make sure you’re across all new content which is coming in and also feeding back into upcoming briefs to make sure any shifts in delivery or content requirements are captured.
The Video Editor is a technical expert but also a creative and so is expected to be able to present their ideas and help guide others to understand their vision. The Video Editor will also need to be an expert at drawing out feedback on their work to make sure that the final execution is delivered on time and on brief. The Video Editor is expected to have excellent knowledge of new cameras, editing and grading solutions, as the expert within the team you should be guiding us on best practices to support us when briefing production companies.
