CASTING - Supporting Roles in Independent Feature Film

We are casting for two supporting roles in our feature film "Kiss And Be Friends".

The roles are 2 x police officers, one male and one female.

To apply you must:

-be aged between 30-60
-be Portuguese (or speak native Portuguese from Portugal)
-live in the Lisbon area
-the roles are open to both actors and non-actors

Kiss And Be Friends is a comedy-drama from directing partnership Ana Baldini & Roly Witherow ("Idioma Pictures". It is the story of two friends who spend a weekend in Lisbon, and events that occur during their stay put their friendship to the test.

The police officers appear in a scene at the end of the film and both are speaking roles.

The selection process will involve:

-Preliminary selection of applications
-Some candidates will be asked to submit a self-tape based on the script.
-Finally, selected candidates may be asked to do an in-person audition in Lisbon, or cast based just on the self-tape.

Shooting will take place in March 2024. The roles of the policiais will require just 1 day (or perhaps a half day). Provisionally the date for this is the 18th March, but this may change slightly. 1 rehearsal will also be required at some point before March.

Remuneration: 100 EUR.
